The Clam Spooler Elite Reel has been very popular with ice anglers for many years. When using a spooler reel, the line has far less coiling effect which can help anglers feel extremely lights bites and lessen lure spin for shy & finicky fish. What separates the Spooler Elite from the competition is the 2.3:1 gear ratio. With the Ice Spooler Elite Reel, anglers strip the line off by hand, ready to set the hook on their next catch!
