Clam Maggot Drop Jig targets finicky panfish when precision and fast drop speed matter, letting ice anglers stay efficient while hopping holes for crappie, perch, bluegill, and small trout. The slightly off-balanced tungsten body hangs true in a vertical presentation and fishes heavy, which helps it punch cleanly through slush and refreeze buildup without fighting the hole. Tungsten construction keeps the profile compact while maintaining weight, so the jig tracks straight and stays controlled below the transducer. Tip it with Maki Plastics, Euro larvae, waxis, or spikes to fine-tune the bite when fish hold tight to bottom or suspend just off it.
